This summer, we are running two online leadership programmes for people who work in high-hazard environments and want to develop their skills. Hands-on and highly interactive. Lead by me, Marieke Bleyenbergh. It includes 4 weekly LIVE sessions per program. max 15 participants per cohort. Access to the recordings and a community space.

What drives me is simple: I believe that everyone deserves a workplace that is safe and when people feel safe they show up, perform at their best, speak up, and grow.

Over the past 25+ years, I’ve worked in leadership roles in operations, HSE and supply chain in international organizations like Shell, AkzoNobel and as CEO in circular cleantech. That journey has taught me a lot about leadership, complexity, and what it takes to build trust in fast-moving, high-pressure environments. I founded Be Human Be Safe because I’ve seen how powerful it is when safety becomes something we live, not just something we check off.

I love working with leaders and teams, creating space for honest conversations, energy, and learning that actually sticks. Whether I’m speaking to a group or coaching one-on-one, my goal is always the same: to help people connect, to themselves, to each other, and to what really matters.
